Statement
about Data Protection
Version
1.2 Dated July 2008
Data security explanation
Version-Nr.:
1.2 of July 2008
The company RSA Entgrat- u. Trenn-Systeme GmbH & Co
KG (short RSA) - on whose website is published this statement
about data protection - strives to offer you an excellent service for all
products and in every other way. We respect your right of privacy and therefore
would like to inform you about the handling of your private data.
1. General information
For
many internet users the protection of private data is of great importance and
an essential criterion to serve without hesitation. RSA
pays great attention to data protection to deal with questions and
doubts customers and other visitors of our website may have, and we observe the
laws of data protection at home and abroad and also the corresponding
guidelines of the European Community. We assure both customers and visitors
calling in on our website that we don’t collect your private data unless you
put it at our disposal.
Please
note that our website contains links to other websites. For these other
websites RSA disclaims any liability with regard
to data protection, statements on data protection and any other contents.
According
to common law, RSA as provider of information is
only responsible for her own contents. There is a distinction between our own
contents and any other links to contents of other providers. RSA only indicates by means of the link that “other
contents” are available, too. RSA is only then
responsible for those “other contents” if we have (full)
knowledge of them (that also means illegal or criminal contents) and if it is
technically feasible and reasonable to prevent its utilization (Telemediengesetz =
Tele Media Act).
However,
links are always “living” (dynamic) indications. When making a link for the
first time, RSA examines if the “other content”
might cause liability for civil or criminal reason. But according to TMG (Telemediengesetz
= Tele Media Act) RSA is not obliged to
verify permanently on her website those “other contents” for modifications
which might cause any liability. Only if RSA finds
out or is told that a link leading to a concrete offer which causes liability
for civil or criminal reason, we shall cut off this link as far as it is
technically feasible und reasonable. Technical feasibility and reasonableness
has no influence that after cut off of the link on RSA website
other servers may permit access to the illegal or criminal offer.
